Always upgrade Bunker first. It's the bottleneck for everything. If you can't upgrade a building, your Bunker level is probably the reason.

Sets the maximum storage cap for Food. Same formula as Warehouse but only affects Food.

Same values as Warehouse. Food is stored separately because troop upkeep can drain it faster than other resources — having a dedicated cap prevents army starvation during long offline periods.

Key Mechanics
Supply marches use a separate slot pool from military marches (Radio Tower). Carry capacity is calculated from the escort troops' base carry, multiplied by the Trade Post bonus plus any research bonuses. Allied supply requires the Commerce research "Trade Networks" (level 2).

Trucks are farming machines. At 200 carry capacity each, a handful of Trucks dramatically increases your loot per raid. War Rigs are expensive endgame units — don't rush them.

This multiplier applies to ALL defending troops including support troops from allies. It's one of the most efficient defensive investments in the game because it scales with army size.

Production rates are multiplied by the world speed. Two Level 10 Scrapyards produce 554/hr — more than a single Level 15 (489/hr), and at lower total cost. Multiple lower-level buildings are often more efficient than one high-level building.

Produces Food. Essential for troop upkeep — troops desert if Food runs out.

Food is unique: it's both a production resource and a consumption resource. Every troop eats Food per hour. Your net Food rate (production minus upkeep) determines whether your army is sustainable.

If net Food goes negative and Food hits 0, troops desert at 10% per cron tick. Always maintain enough Farms to support your army. Check the Food Balance in the settlement sidebar — if it's red, build more Farms immediately or dismiss excess troops.
